PBR Whitewater Revival Whitewater events have long been part of Idaho whitewater. The PBR Whitewater Revival (The P.B.R. stands for Payette Boise Rivers) came alive early summer 2007 and raised $1500 benefiting the Boise River Recreation Park. Organizers Samuel Goff and Bill Driscoll specifically designed the event to raise awareness and money for the development of the park. The event is slated May 30th – June 1st 2008, hosting the National Rafting Championships. For more information visit http://www.pbrkayakevent.com.

Community Resources
Boise City Parks and Recreation The Boise Parks & Recreation Department serves city residents by maintaining parks and open space. We also operate a community center, drop-in youth programs, a zoo, golf course and three cemeteries. The department provides art, dance, fitness and adapted recreation programs for children, teens and adults, and coordinates basketball, volleyball and softball leagues throughout the city.
Idaho Foundation for Parks and Lands The Idaho Foundation for Parks and Lands acts as a conduit to channel monies for the acquisition and management of lands and not forfeit once in a lifetime opportunities. The Foundation operates in the private/public arena and partners with public and private organizations to get things done effectively and at a lower cost. Idaho's future will depend on having the resources through these public private partnerships to support wildlife.
Northend.org Boise's historic neighborhood believes in building community and supporting projects that enrich our environment, our families and children and keep Boise a great place to live. By creating a new venue for soccer, walkers, recreationalists and community gatherings, we are continuing Boise's tradition of giving back to the community in partnership with local government.
