River Park Grand Opening June 28The long-awaited Boise River Recreation Park will be formally launched with a grand opening on Thursday, June 28 from 5–7pm. Join Mayor Bieter, residents and dignitaries as our guests for family-oriented festivities including a ribbon-cutting ceremony, donor acknowledgement, a paddling demonstration. After the ceremony Idaho River Sports will host a reception with music and food.
We will be having a Boise River Recreation Park paddler's only raffle for all participants who register and then show up with their boat to paddle at the event! Come by and signup at the store anytime prior to the event or up to 3PM the day of the event. Then show up with your boat and your ticket to enter the day of the event. No purchase necessary.

Release Date: 6/6/2012 Temporary Parking at the Boise River Park
Two temporary parking lots have been developed near the Boise River Recreation Park. Now, access the park from Pleasanton Avenue. Park behind Idaho River Sports or another lot between that and the pedestrian bridge over the Boise River.
Release Date: 4/26/2012 Phase I of River Rec Park nears completion
The water is flowing over the in-river work, but shoreline improvements need to be completed before the park is open.
